I have two blog posts percolating in my head right now but am unable to pour either out at the moment.

Yes. Like this. |
Mostly this is due to the fact that I'm at work right now with less access to stream media than I'll need for the clicky links I plan to add. Partly it's due to the fact that I am lazy and do not want to fix them for publishing.
But here's a trailer of sorts:
1). Black Swan: A Review (or I See What You Did There)
Excerpt from my notes: "the dichotomy of black v white and Madonna/whore. She can't be "perfect" until she embraces both sides of herself as represented by the two swans. But once she accepts the sexual, she can no longer be "perfect and sweet" in the Real world. So she has to kill herself in order to end on that note. Like what's her name in Dorian Grey." (picture unrelated to this...)

Guys! They have a violinist! |
2. The Newsies, The Giffords, and New Media
There was a line in one of the articles I read this morning that struck me as total bad news: "Rep. Robert Brady, D-Pennsylvania, said he will introduce legislation making it a federal crime for a person to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a member of Congress or a federal official."

Mean little angry buggers. |
There is such a need for level-headedness here as well as treading lightly. These people are a hornet's nest that's been kicked and knee jerk reactions are never good for anything. They so easily escalate out of control. After all, we can only lose our rights and our freedoms if we surrender them. What better way to accomplish that than with fear? You don't listen to wasps, though. You gas them. Politely. Until they go to sleep and you can put them in the Everglades somewhere...
So that's that. A preview of the upcoming. Black Swan should be up tonight, but I wanted to waste a little more time so you get a snippet. :)
